REVIEW FROM FACEBOOK (11/2014)
We had our son’s first birthday party and it was awesome! The guests had a blast especially our birthday boy and our 2 year old! They loved every exhibit! We would most definitely do it again!!
A week prior to the date, the birthday planning was easy and stress-free. Karisa and Deborah answered all of our questions and kept us at ease with how the party would go. They were professional, friendly and very knowledgeable.
Yesterday, everything went smoothly. Selena was superb and was fantastic with all the kids and the rest of the guests. Everybody LOVED her! She went above and beyond for not only our birthday boy but, for every one of our guests. She was friendly, fun, energetic, and sweet.
The first 30 minutes our guests were able to visit and explore the exhibits. Selena called us and our guests on the intercom to gather around in our party room to start eating. The decorations were more than we imagined it would be. Everything looked beautiful. The pizza was delicious! The cake was decorated with Big Bird and Elmo and it looked exactly like the picture on their website.
We loved the fact that were able to bring favors and some of our personal decor. However, we were not allowed to bring any outside food or drinks or balloons other than small chocolates and cake pops to include with our favors.
After eating pizza, we sang “happy birthday” and cut the cake. The cake we chose was vanilla with strawberry filling and it was so good!! All of our guests, especially the kids, loved it! We had tatoo/facepainting followed by a puppet show. We chose to have the “Three Little Pigs” show and the kids enjoyed the surprise at the end of it!
We did not feel rushed to leave after our party. All the rest of the staff, including the cleaning staff were friendly and made us feel welcomed!! Selena and some of the staff, cleaned up the toys on top of the cake, helped us pack up including leftovers and brought them to our car, and cleaned up the rooms that we occupied. Because of our great experience at Imagine That, our guests will back to visit on their own time.
SMOOTHLY PLANNED AND FUN EVENT
Thank you very much for helping make my daughter A’is birthday such a smoothly planned and fun event for us and all our guests. From start to finish, and even during the planning stage, I was shown a lot of patience and understanding. You were also accommodating of all the changes I required, including those made at the last moment. I thank you for and appreciate the same.
A special thanks to my party host Dianna, and also to Yolanda and Louie who did a lot of background work. Melissa and Karisa, thank you both too, for being sweet and friendly, and for sending out those invoices to me so promptly.
Congratulations to the Imagine That Children’s museum for having a wonderful team, who take good care of every person who visits. I am so glad that I made the decision of celebrating my daughter’s second birthday here.
ONE OF OUR FAVORITE PLACES
The R. Family
We recently attended the Princess breakfast and my daughter had a wonderful time! But what we really enjoyed most was the new pet hospital! It is really cute and such a nice upgrade from the previous computer room. We also enjoyed all the new artwork around the museum! Imagine That is one of our favorite places to visit- thank you!
The staff was extremely attentive to all of my child’s needs. They were willing to do whatever I asked them to do. Everything was discussed prior to the date, however, I was the typical nervous mother. Words cannot begin to say how much we appreciate everything that Imagine That did for my entire family and guests.
My kids love this place!!
Thanks. got your invoice. Looks fine. Thanks for all your help. The whole team there is so professional and yet friendly and sweet. 🙂 It is so nice to work with you.
GREAT CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
This is such a great children’s museum, it has something for kids a year old all the way up to the teens!! We went and had a 1 year old, 2year old and 3 year old and they all seemed to love every bit of it! It had a lot to do but not too much and everything was sectioned off it made it easy for them to concentrate on where they were before moving on!
My favorite part was the real plane and real fire engine, they were set up so the kids could climb up in them (as could the adults) and pretend they were driving. The motorcycle was pretty cool too! Another favorite place was the pirate ship with the slide! The ballet bar with the tap and ballet shoes and tutu’s sends giggles through little girls!! Oh and be careful of the real working cash registers in the grocery store – those draws pop out fast, much to my 3yearold’s delight!
I’d give this place a 5 star if they had some healthy options at the snack bar like milk, fruit or even some cereal bars or trail mix. The popcorn, pretzles and the apple juice were big hits with the girls though!
The value book was just the greatest thing since it also included a free kids meal, pretzle and $5 off the gift shop that had some excellent gifts.
We were amazed how many things were in working condition compaired to most museums and would definately go there again if in the area!!
Had a great time. Awesome idea for children. My son has a blast inside Imagine That kids museum. A+++
Went to imagine that today. Great place for the kids. Booked a party and will write another review after the party.
My family visited this afternoon. A friend suggested that we take our 6 and 2 year old. Our son (6) loved the race car room and our 2 year old would not exit the dance area. Both of our kids enjoyed the craft project that was a weekend special. This was pretty nice and it was no extra charge. The admission prices are very fair considering you could spend many hours and not be limited with a time of departure. Friendly staff, immaculate facility and bathrooms clean too. We had an early dinner in the cafe. For a place like this, we could not believe how great the menu was. Actual healthy food! My wife had a tuna salad, I had some pizza with a fruit bowl and the kids had chicken nuggets. We probably will book our daughter’s birthday at Imagine That.
GREAT KIDS MUSEUM
My son had a great time here! There are lots of activities for the kids. Everything is hands on. You can have kids parties here.
They also have a gift shop and a small cafe for lunch.
They have interactive display’s, life size things to climb on, arts and crafts, etc. The kids go from room to room exploring different things….a “real” supermarket, post office, doctors office……
My son really enjoyed delivering mail and shopping for groceries.
The price is reasonable and I have seen coupons available.
GREAT EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE
This is a good place to take your kids to learn new things. They have several different activities that your kids can participate in from dance, to creative art, to learning about trucks and airplanes. They also have toys from around the world. I think this is a good place to teach children about different places and different cultures. I would recommend this place to schools as a good place for class trips, or just an educational weekend with the family.
