Field trips at Imagine That!!!, a New Jersey Children’s Museum
Many exhibits to challenge your students’ minds!
Looking for a special place to bring your students or children’s group? Come to Imagine That!!! Voted one of the best children’s museums in Morris County, our educational exhibits and convenient layout make us an ideal place to bring a field trip for children pre-school to second grade.
Imagine That!!! boasts over 50 different exhibits including a real fire truck, a real airplane, a real motorcycle and other vehicles that children can play on. We have a sensory exploration area, a shadow room, play grocery store, arts & crafts area, music room, pirate ship and a multicultural area that features items from all around the world. Children are not required to go through the museum in any specific order, but rather may explore at their own pace.
We offer interactive, educational puppet shows with beautiful puppets, each centered around an age-appropriate theme such as kindness, nutrition, problem-solving or the seasons of the year. We have craft activities and exciting educational science programs that can be tailored for the age of the group. Imagine That!!! also offers seasonal specials for groups and upon special request, a Visit With Santa!
For the new school year (2015-2016), we are promoting 2 fun educational programs:
- Professor Awesome’s Spectacular Science Show!!! Click here to download pdf flyer.
- Nutrition Treasure Hunt and Puppet Show!! Click here for the flyer.
We will work with schools to use Imagine That!!! for fundraiser events. We are willing to help schools generate additional money in one of two ways; we will donate back to the schools from general admissions or we can offer pre-purchase tickets at a deeply discounted rate. Call for additional details. Imagine That!!! takes pride in helping the community, especially our NJ schools!
Our layout is unique among New Jersey children’s museums, we have an open-floor plan design with several distinctive exhibit areas, with low walls marking individual exhibits. Chaperones can easily supervise children. We have FREE ample parking.
A typical field trip is 2 to 2 and a half hours long, including time for lunch and a private lunch room on request. You may bring a brown bag lunch or arrange a pizza lunch through us for an extra-special treat. When scheduling your trip, be sure to ask about our activity options.
Please note: We require a 4-to-1 student-to-chaperone ratio to ensure safety and a pleasant time for all our guests. We have FREE bus parking!
